M Performance运动化套件除了增强外形和座舱的运动感外，还对动力输出、悬架系统和空气动力学进行全面提升，并且没有影响到油耗和排放。
2系Coupe M Performance换用短簧和新款减震筒，比普通版本的悬架系统低了20毫米，提供两种不同设计的19英寸合金轮毂供选装。制动系统换装轻质制动碟和蓝色高性能制动卡钳。性能旗舰M235i还将获得高性能排气系统和限滑差速器，以改善弯道循迹性能和出弯速度。
外形的变化主要是加装新设计的空气动力学套件，这包括碳纤维车尾扰流翼和车外后视镜罩，附带大尺寸散热口的车头大包围。标志性的双肾形进气格栅，车头大包围中的扰流翼以及车尾的气流扩散器都采用黑色设计。
座舱内的运动感比普通版本浓烈许多，三幅式方向盘、挡把和手刹拉杆都采用碳纤维装饰和欧缔兰包裹。并且方向盘附带转速指示灯，具备换挡提示功能。
